I’m Katie Flanagan, your local, independent wedding celebrant for the Ribble Valley, Lancashire and beyond, and I have a very special connection to Stirk House, Gisburn and their brilliant Wedding Manager, Rai.

Me & Rai: A History Built on Heart, Trust… and the 12th July!

Before I became a full-time celebrant, I used to managed a wedding venue. I had a vacancy in my ‘Dream Team’ and I had profiled the “perfect coordinator” to fit my team. It had to be someone calm, thoughtful, organised, professional, easy to work with, great sense of humour and brilliant with couples. I wasn’t asking for much, eh!

But then, enter Rai …

She was perfect and matched the ideal profile perfectly, and quickly became one of my brilliant Dream Team (Hi Ladies 😘) . We’ve laughed til we cried together, we’ve cried til we laughed together, problem-solved together, and navigated more perfect wedding moments than we could ever count. If you really want to test our bond, just mention the “Battle of Boyne” to Rai… or ask her if the 12th of July is still available. If you know, you know! 😉
